They stand as Himalayas of group improv music. And <strong><em>Electro-Magnetic Trans-Personal Orchestra<\/em><\/strong> is the Mt. others, for sax quartet &amp; processing<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aramshelton.com\/\"><strong>Aram Shelton<\/strong><\/a> composed three minimalist works for an octet of winds and strings via loop pedal back in 2002. For this concert, he\u2019ll re-imagine the first of these, <strong><em>Octet<\/em><\/strong>, for saxophone quartet and processing via Max, bringing the piece close to its initial form. Each saxophone will be live-sampled, and the processed sound will be distributed through the space at CNMAT.
